1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1 By registering an account or using the services of Hunter’s Logistics (“the Company”), the Customer (“the User”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 The Company reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Notice of changes will be provided via the website (hunterslogistics.net) or email.

2. SERVICES & PRICING

2.1 Air Freight Rates: Shipping charges are based on the actual weight of the package.

  • 1 lb: $650 JMD

  • 2 lbs: $1,100 JMD

  • 3 lbs: $1,550 JMD

  • 4 lbs: $2,000 JMD

  • 5 lbs: $2,400 JMD

  • 6 lbs: $2,900 JMD

  • 7 lbs: $3,300 JMD

  • 8 lbs: $3,700 JMD

  • 9 lbs: $4,100 JMD

  • 10 lbs: $4,500 JMD

  • Bulk (11+ lbs): $400 JMD per lb for the total weight.

2.2 Mandatory Fees: Every package is subject to a $100 JMD Courier Processing Fee.

2.3 Sea Freight & Barrels: Rates for Sea Freight and Barrels are quoted at the time of shipment based on current carrier rates and dimensions.

2.4 Customs Duties: The User is responsible for all duties and taxes assessed by Jamaica Customs Agency. These must be paid in full before package release.

3. DELIVERY & STORAGE

3.1 Timeframes: Delivery is typically 1–2 business days after a package is marked "Ready for Pickup."

3.2 Delivery Fees:

  • Glengoffe: FREE (Saturdays only).

  • Lawrence Tavern: $300 JMD.

  • Half Way Tree: $500 JMD.

  • Personal Home Delivery: $700 JMD.

  • Islandwide (Knutsford Express): Subject to Knutsford rates + $500 JMD drop-off fee.

    3.3 Storage: Packages not collected within 7 calendar days will incur a storage fee of $50 JMD per day. After 30 days, the Company reserves the right to auction the item to recover costs.

4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1 Documentation: The User must provide an accurate merchant invoice for every package to ensure correct customs declaration.

4.2 Prohibited Items: The User shall not ship items restricted by Jamaican law, including:

  • Firearms, ammunition, or imitation firearms (toy guns).

  • Narcotics and psychotropic substances.

  • Pornographic or obscene materials.

  • Hazardous/flammable materials (perfumes, aerosols, or batteries may require special handling).

5. LIABILITY & INSURANCE

5.1 Lost/Damaged Goods: If a package is lost or damaged while in the Company's possession, the Company’s liability is limited to a maximum of $100.00 USD (or JMD equivalent) or the invoice value, whichever is lower.

5.2 Merchant Damage: The Company is not liable for items damaged due to poor packaging by the original vendor/merchant.

5.3 Customs Actions: The Company is not liable for delays, seizures, or fines imposed by Jamaica Customs.

6. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

6.1 Pursuant to the Jamaica Data Protection Act, the Company collects personal data (Name, TRN, Address) solely for logistics and customs purposes.

6.2 Data will not be shared with third parties except as required by law (e.g., Jamaica Customs).

7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

7.1 Complaints must be submitted via email to [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery/collection.
